It all started in 1963, when Giannis Karras, while sailing to the Athos peninsula, found refuge in a nearby protected bay. After the storm, the sun shone over a magnificent landscape. In 1999, the Technical Olympic Club, aiming at Utilizing its business potential, it acquired the historic resort built by Giannis Karras and launched an extensive and ambitious investment project to complete the upgrade of the resort. Since then, the Group has completely renovated the hotels and modernized all the facilities, in order to meet the modern hotel requirements and to comply with the strictest safety standards. Renovations also took place at Villa Gallini, which is now a member of the Historic Hotels in Europe. to realize the combination of the beauty of nature and the historical heritage of Porto Carras, which continues to evolve.
